1.

Fifty-two(52) year old female who had Silicone/Biopolymer injections mixed with Oils. This patient went for a series of Four (4) separate injections, with two(2) different injectors. Her symptoms included Skin discoloration, Burning, Itching, Nerve tingling down her legs and up her back, Increased sugar levels causing the patient to become Diabetic with Hypercalcemia.

Thirty four year old female who had Silicone/Biopolymer injections three(3) separate times. She was experiencing pain radiating down her legs and up her back, itching, and lumps/bumps. The photos show her before/after surgical removal of the Foreign Material.

Thirty-six (36) year old male injected 3 times in Mexico by a "so called" Cosmetic Doctor whom he later found out was a Non-licensed Esthetician. The unsterile environment in which he was injected caused numerous infections and the patient was hospitalized. The Doctors in the hospital treated him with a basic debridement for cellulitis, and pain, itching, burning. They did not treat the infection which was breaking through the skin. The doctors in the hospitals emergency room did not diagnose him properly and did not associate the on going infection with the illegal silicone injections.

NOTE: EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTORS AND FAMILY PHYSICIANS ARE NOT ACCUSTOMED TO SEEING PATIENTS WITH THESE TYPES OF SYMPTOMS AND INFECTIONS DUE TO ILLEGAL INJECTIONS. THEY WILL TREAT YOU IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR "CELLULITIS", PAIN AND ANXIETY. DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ON GOING PATIENT POPULATION OR EXPERIENCE TREATING PATIENTS WITH ILLEGAL INJECTIONS THEY GENERALLY TREAT AND RELEASE. ANTIBIOTICS WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM OR EASE THE PAIN. THE ONLY WAY TO ALEVIATE ALL THE SYMPTOMS IS TO SURGICALLY REMOVE THE PRODUCTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. LIPOSUCTION, VASER LIPO, COLD LASER, OR ANY TYPE OF ULTRASOUND LASER WILL NOT REMOVE THE MATERIAL, IT MUST BE SURGICALLY REMOVED. PLEASE USE A BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON SUCH AS DR.GALLERANI, WHO HAS HAD MORE THAN 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE REMOVING THE PRODUCT, AND HAS THE KNOWLEDGE OF COMPLEX WOUND CARE AND WHO UNDERSTANDS FULLY THE PRE AND POST OPERATIVE CARE OF PATIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN INJECTED WITH FOREIGN MATERIAL.

Fifty-Two (52) year old male who was injected with what his illegal injector called "Hydrogel/Hyaluronic Acid" Filler mixed with mineral oils. This illegal substance was tested in our Laboratory and found to be Industrial silicone mixed with mineral oil. The patient experienced discoloration, burning, itching, the feeling of oils dripping down his legs. After the surgery the patient was able to return to work and is now happy and healthy.

Forty-five (45) year old male who was injected with "so called" PMMA filler. This tested to be industrial liquid silicone when removed. The patient symptoms were hardness, and an overly large buttocks which made wearing clothes uncomfortable. Patient had extensive removal in the lower part of the gluteal fold corrected.

Thirty-seven(37) year old patient who had a series of 4 separate sessions with the same injector. She was experiencing pain, itching, swelling, tingling in hands and feet, swelling at the base of her back, discoloration, lumps and bumps. The pictures to the left are Before/ After removal and Post Reconstruction with an internal flap and an autologous fat transfer (BBL).

Seventy-one(71) year old Hispanic female patient who was hospitalized numerous times over the past 10 years. She came to us with complaints of Adult onset diabetes, Difficulty Walking, Breathing, Burning feeling in her Skin, Itching, Insomnia, and Nerve pain in her legs and feet. In 1999 she was injected 2 times from 2 different injectors. The injections were more than 12 years ago and her symptoms did not appear until 2015. Her Blood labs showed that she had Hypocalcemia, this was due to the Foreign Material Injections. Post surgery her Calcium levels returned to normal and her diabetes was under control.
NOTE: We have seen patients that were injected as many as 27 years ago who did not have symptoms until recently.

Forty-four(44) year old patient who had a series of Foreign Material injections causing Hardness, Lumps, Bumps, Cellulitis, Heart Palpitations, Sweating, Irritability, Headaches, Shortness of Breath. She had seen her Primary Care Doctor and a Rheumatologist. She also had several Emergency Room visits, none of which connected her symptoms with the Foreign Material Injections with her Medical Issues.
At Medici Institute, Dr.Gallerani diagnosed her symptoms as being associated with the Foreign Material.
Upon Surgical Removal of the Foreign Material the patients symptoms disappeared. She has now been able to move forward with her life and is a Happy, Healthy, Working mother of 6 year old twin boys.

Thirty-seven(37) year old Hispanic female patient who had only 1 series of Injections. She did not develop complications until 3 years later. Her chief complaints were Hardness, Numbness down the legs, Back pain, Headaches, Insomnia, Anxiety, Night sweats, and Irritability.
