  1. Dr. Gallerani-

My name is Velencia and I’m a 40 year old Transwoman living in historic Petersburg VA. In 1999 I had liquid silicone injections injected into my face ( apple of cheeks, chin, upper lip) as well as my breast in an effort to feminize my face as well as my my breast. Four years ago I began to notice the apple of my cheeks increasing in size with a hard mass underneath. The same has developed in both breast as well. After saving money, I reached out to a local surgeon who said he could remove the hard mass from the apple of both cheeks in combination with a traditional face-lift, rhinoplasty, and chin reduction. I paid $28,000, which was all I had left after starting my own nonprofit business missioned towards ending hunger and homelessness in my state. I just want to fit in and look normal without the animation. After surgery the surgeon says he was unable to remove the Silicone as his tools could not cut it. He further informed it had formed scar tissue. The surgery left me with asymmetry where the left side of my face looks like a whole other person than the right side. My nose job, you can see the imprint of the stitches and incision line of attachment. Needless to say I was even more disappointed after the surgery than before. I again done my research and finally was able to find a Surgeon who has been successful in removing silicone injections, Dr. Gallerani. I just wish this site was up and running when I was researching before the first surgery. I called your office and scheduled the appointment and paid the consultation fee, however, I had to cancel for one reason or another, more recently for this Monday coming. I’m so eager to meet with you, however I’m just concerned as to whether the corrections will be affordable as I understand one can not slack the price for quality work and expertise. No surgeons have any estimations on how much removing facial silicone will cost on average. I do not have allot in my face, however enough in the apple of cheeks and chin to see animation and now asymmetry since my last procedure. I’m curious how much the said procedure might cost (estimate) that I may know how much I will have to save and how much longer I will be trapped in this horrible face. Although my goal is to reschedule as soon as timing permits, it would be great to just have a round about guess at how much the procedure might cost. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back and rescheduling very soon.

    1. Velencia, we are all thinking of you in Florida.
Wishing you Happy Holidays and a Blessed New Year 2018!
Looking forward to helping you achieve your goals all the best,

Dr.Gallerani, Dianet, Paola, Andrea and Ginger
